Ever have trouble getting started with something?

I find that for myself, just getting myself started into something is usually the hardest part of it.

Once I'm in it, then it's hard for me to stop.

RARELY do I regret getting into these things once I'm in it & then done.

I don't know how to change that sort-of procrastinating element to myself, other than to just stay the course and push myself through with that commitment.

Because in the end I know I will be happier that I did it.

Have you ever wanted to do something, but then you find yourself not doing it?

And you have a whole bunch of reasons why you're not doing the thing.

And you tell yourself they're all legit.

But when you get really real with yourself. I mean REALLY real, how much of what's keeping you from doing the thing is fear?

It took me SEVEN YEARS (and a Groupon idea from one of my loveliest friends) to try pole dancing (even though I really thought I'd like it). I was fearful of what it was actually going to be, and what being in a class full of females was going to be like. I was fearful people would be mean and catty and bitchy, because I had experienced that often from females.

But thanks to my friend's Groupon idea and FINALLY DECIDING THAT I WAS GOING TO START SAYING YES TO THINGS THAT SCARED ME BECAUSE MOST OF THAT FEAR LIVED IN MY HEAD, I found a passion that turned into more than I ever imagined!

So I invite you to as yourself, what are you afraid of? What's the worst that could happen? Is it worth a lifetime of coula/woulda/shoulda?
