The Solid Waste / Recycling Division is responsible for the siting, construction, operation, maintenance, closure, and post-closure care of Dane County's landfills, compost sites, and landfill gas-to-energy systems.

Saturday, June 16, 2012 - 8am to 2pm
Alliant Energy Center 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, WI
Use the Rimrock Road and Olin Street Entrances:
Electronic materials collected at the event will include Personal computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, calculators, cell phones, keyboards, & mice, all brands of televisions sets (all sizes), computer monitors, CRT Monitors, Flat Panel Monitors, microwaves, radios, stereos, telephones, DVD and CD players and VVCRs.
All electronic materials will be responsibly handled in an environmentally, safe and secure manner, using the best data wiping software available. This event is for residents only -
NO businesses.
Dane County has developed a system to help move vehicles through the lines quicker and more effectively. Last year's event had wait times of less than 5 minutes.
