HERE'S THE FACTS:
1) In the next 5-7 years, nearly half of all tradespeople will retire.
2) K-12 curriculum often emphasizes 4-year college degrees, meaning the skilled trades are often overlooked as a pathway.
3) 32% of high school students are not offered a shop class.
4) College tuition is still increasing!

We're trying to change this...
This Wednesday, we're hosting our area's largest hands-on career fair focused on jobs in the skilled trades. Unlike most traditional career fairs, Build My Future 2024: Driftless Area allows students to try out everything from concrete pouring to crane operations firsthand! Well over 1,000 students from 40+ local high schools will get to experience a "day in the trades" at this one-of-a-kind interactive career fair.

With a lower barrier to entry than in the past and incredible demand for people to fill these roles, expertise in the trades is a future-proof career.
