Thanksgiving was a wild day for me with the feelings extending from one of my largest accomplishments to date to extreme loss. As we teach in The Life Cycle of Collaboration…. We must celebrate.

This is such an honor and I’m so excited to serve for the next three years!

I’ve been reading Adrienne Maree Brown’s latest book, Fables and Spells. These two points are sitting deep and inspirational with me.

1️⃣ Don’t be afraid to contradict yourself. Expand on the knowing of being on time for your life.

2️⃣ We don’t even know what losing means. We associate it with the feeling and “being a loser.” However, that is just the projection. It has nothing to do with the growth or transformation.

Just a couple thoughts on this Tuesday morning.

With the rain and sun both knowing their role, they collaborate to create a beautiful rainbow. Efficient. Effective. Impactful.

Happy ! This is the call to be proud of who you are and who you’ve become. We need this month. We need to celebrate. We need to riot. We’ve worked too hard to become this fabulous.

I came out in 2001 at age 21. Since then, it has been a journey to figure out who I am AND THEN love and be proud of that person. And damn, I love me and this zany wild ride that I created. This is who I am and you’re always welcome to join me.

And watch out…. I just got started.
