Every year on Veterans Day, we reflect on the contributions and sacrifices of those men and women who have worn the cloth of this great nation. Countless ceremonies take place around the country as we honor our patriots who have protected our liberty by serving in the United States armed forces. Veterans deserve to be honored today for their sacrifice in defending our country and its ideals. Not only individual sacrifice from members in the military, but also the sacrifices made by their family and children. We are privileged to live in the United States where the cost of freedom as we all know it is not free, but paid for by the sacrifices of the men and women who have served.
