🧚 MOSS EMBROIDERY: Transforming Textiles 🧚

Are you interested in a fun, embroidery-based project to add an interesting and functional touch to thrifted and recycled textiles? Do you like free-form projects that are easy to wear while in progress? Join Dean Amethyst’s Moss Embroidery workshop at Communication to add moss embroidery to a textile of your choice! Bring your stained shirts, pants with holes in them, hats with a logo you want to cover up, or some other textile and add moss in this all-levels workshop. Together, we will strengthen our mending skills, learn some embroidery fundamentals (running stitch, French knot, etc), and have fun sewing as a group. Dean Amethyst (they/them) is an interdisciplinary q***r and trans artist that would love to share their skills with you and support you in making art!
