Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) is an innovative program that enables property owners to obtain low-cost, long-term loans for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation projects. Business owners are empowered to save energy and money, create new jobs, and support the local economy – all without taxpayer assistance. PACE Wisconsin is administered by Slipstream.

The Washington, located at 1930 Cleveland Street in the Shawtown Neighborhood of Eau Claire, incorporated $8,000,000 million in PACE financing for energy and water efficiency updates. PACE Loan Group financed the PACE portion the property owners are using to turn the former assisted living facility into much needed apartments for the Chippewa Valley. The Washington will have a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Congratulations to Eau Claire County, PACE Loan Group and Henderson on this project!
