Wisconsin State Representative Kalan Haywood of Assembly District 16 says, “As a lifelong Milwaukeean, I am deeply appreciative of the steady support UMOS, Inc. has provided to migrant communities in the Milwaukee area. For decades, UMOS has helped these workers and their families meet their basic needs such as housing, food security, and healthcare. In addition, UMOS creates opportunities for growth through education and employment programs. As migrant and immigrant workers make up a significant percentage of Milwaukee’s workforce, UMOS’ contributions are an invaluable resource to the city, and I applaud their commitment to the well-being and prosperity of these communities. It is my hope that this important work can continue with the ongoing support of government agencies and community partners.”
