The system allows VA schedulers to book approved patients directly into provider schedules in real time, reducing delays, administrative work, and referral turnaround from weeks to hours. ⏱️💻

The initiative aims to improve access to local care for veterans while creating new referral opportunities for participating providers.

CMS has announced plans for a new self-attestation process for Rural Health Clinic recertification surveys, potentially replacing periodic on-site surveys with a brief form completed every six years. While intended to reduce administrative burden, NARHC has raised concerns about long-term compliance, accountability, and program integrity. 🏥📋
