The first group of outbound 4-Hers (including four of our own from Wisconsin) have arrived in Japan to begin the 8-week Nihongo program!

They will spend the next few weeks taking Japanese culture and language classes while living with a host family in the Tokyo area!

The States' 4-H Japan 8-week delegation has safely arrived in Japan! They were met at the airport by the LABO staff and directed to their accommodations for an overnight arrival orientation. Tomorrow they will meet their first host family in-person during a host family ceremony. They will stay with this host family for the first 4 weeks while they study on the Nihongo program in Tokyo. A special thank you to everyone who made this program possible - from our international partners and the host families who opened up their hearts and homes, to the State Leaders, State Coordinators, Local Coordinators in your communities, to the participants and their families. Your support means the world to us! Stay tuned for more Japan 8-week adventures!
