Hello, friends, I hope you are finding energy and solace in your creative lives as we navigate turmoil in the world. I am still so grateful for the many wonderful people I met over the years at Gayfeather Fabrics. I certainly miss you! ❤️
I am going to set up a table at the Destash Bash at Sew Much More, 2118 W Beltline Frontage Rd, Madison, next Saturday, May 30th, from 9 am to 1 pm.
I will be selling trims, fabrics, patterns and notions at clearance prices. I hope you are able to stop by, take a look, and say hello! I'd love to see you.
And just in case--bring some cash! You never know what you might find!

My first garment of the new year, the Toaster Sweater by Sew House Seven. This version is sewn with an organic cotton jersey from Spoonflower. I lengthened it 2". Very easy to sew and so comfortable to wear!

“Sewing is a way to mark our existence on cloth: patterning our place in the world, voicing our identity, sharing something of ourselves with others and leaving the indelible evidence of our presence in stitches held fast by our touch.”
