Walbridge School is a non-profit elementary through high school serving students with specific learning disabilities like dyslexia, Attention Disorders, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Anxiety or NLD/NVLD. The mission at Walbridge School is to develop a sustainable educational program that uses a comprehensive academic approach to effectively meet the needs of children with learning differences, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

How Dyslexia is a Different Brain, Not a Disease Students, parents, and teachers must understand that the dyslexic’s brain isn’t “broken” or deficient, just organized in a different way. And there is specialized reading instruction specifically for the different brain structure.

“My daughter is now finishing her first month at college and away from home. So far, so good. Although she still needs help at times, she knows that it is ok to ask for help and what help she needs. This all started for Sophie at Walbridge. We will always be grateful for Walbridge. – Anne
