Before this remodel, our clients dreamed of having an outdoor living space. A place for relaxing, eating and entertaining.

They had a flat garage roof that had potential, but they needed a team to navigate construction and to help them bring their vision to life.

Now, that forgotten rooftop has become one of the most-loved parts of their home - a cozy screened-in porch for relaxing, a sunny side deck for fresh air, and a covered grilling patio below.

Our team saw potential where it's easy to see limits.

Because the home sits in a historic district, we guided the clients through every approval and detail.
From preparing variance applications to coordinating with the city landmarks committee, we secured the approvals needed to build their porch addition.

We then reinforced the existing garage roof with custom framing and structural upgrades, ensuring safety and longevity without compromising design.

Every trim, railing, and finish was thoughtfully chosen to honor the home’s story - creating a timeless space that looks like it’s always belonged.

The result is a functional, beautiful extension of their home. Built for comfort, character, and connection.

In this project, we transformed part of an unused porch into a stunning first-floor powder room.

Here are a few of the design elements that made it work:

3️⃣ Layered Lighting – Side sconces and recessed lighting add function and warmth without crowding the room.
