On a summer evening nearly 50 years ago, a handful of people gathered on a front lawn in southern Wisconsin with a vision to create a science-based voice for Wisconsin’s wetlands. So far, there are seven other videos that feature the stories of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, the Oneida Nation, the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, and the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa—and we have plans to tell even more.
