Gathering of Kichwa migrant communities, united for the NO.

We defend our rights and make it clear: NO to the referendum. Even far from home, we continue protecting what our peoples have built through struggle.

Today we run a Chaski, inspired by the traditions of our ancestors and elders, where messengers once ran to carry the collective voice. Now, our steps keep that living connection between communities strong; from here and there, we carry decisions, memory, and resistance across all our territories.

Our message is clear: we run and walk so that the NO is heard loud and strong. As Kichwa migrant peoples, we sustain our continuity beyond borders, for a future of justice and dignity. 🌀

Encuentro de comunidades Kichwas migrantes, unidas por el NO.
Defendemos nuestros derechos y afirmamos con claridad: NO a la consulta, porque incluso lejos seguimos cuidando lo que nuestros pueblos han construido con lucha.

Hoy hacemos un Chaski, inspirado en la tradición de nuestros pueblos milenarios, donde las y los chaskis corrían para llevar la palabra colectiva.
Ahora, nuestros pasos también sostienen ese tejido vivo entre comunidades; desde aquí y desde allá llevamos decisiones, memoria y resistencia a través de todos nuestros territorios.

Nuestro mensaje es firme: corremos y caminamos para que llegue fuerte el NO. Como pueblos Kichwa migrantes, sostenemos nuestra continuidad más allá de fronteras, por un futuro con justicia y dignidad.

Muyu Minga, or “Collective Work of the Seed,” honors the power of community, food justice, and Indigenous solidarity, here in diaspora and beyond.

Acompáñanos en un día de aprendizaje colectivo, soberanía de las semillas y celebración cultural, enraizado en las tradiciones Kichwa y el cuidado intergeneracional.

Muyu Minga, o “Trabajo Colectivo de la Semilla,” honra el poder de la comunidad, la justicia alimentaria y la solidaridad indígena, aquí en la diáspora y más allá.

La comunidad Kichwa de Madison, Wisconsin, EE.UU., se solidariza inquebrantablemente con nuestro pueblo en Ecuador. ✊🏽
Alzamos la voz contra la represión estatal y la criminalización de la lucha indígena. Nuestra lucha por la dignidad y la justicia no puede ser silenciada.
• Denunciamos las violaciones de derechos humanos cometidas por el gobierno de Daniel Noboa.
• Exigimos la liberación inmediata y justicia para los 12 compañeros Kichwa detenidos en Otavalo y trasladados arbitrariamente a cárceles fuera de la provincia de Imbabura.
• Condenamos la brutal agresión y as*****to de Efraín Fuerez, asesinado por militares por ejercer su derecho a la protesta.

The Kichwa community in Madison stands in unwavering solidarity with our people in Ecuador. ✊🏽

We raise our voices against state repression and the criminalization of Indigenous struggle. Our fight for dignity and justice cannot be silenced.
• We denounce the human rights violations carried out by the government of Daniel Noboa.
• We demand the immediate release and justice for the 12 Kichwa men detained in Otavalo and arbitrarily transferred to prisons outside of the Imbabura province.
• We condemn the brutal assault and assassination of Efraín Fuerez, murdered by the military for exercising his right to protest.

This corn is more than food, it’s medicine, memory, and connection.

Since last year, , a family-owned Oneida farm, has generously shared seeds with our community. Through the leadership of Paul Lema, we have been able to grow, nurture, and now harvest them. 💚✨

This shows the strength of Indigenous solidarity between Northern and Southern nations, the ways our peoples support and care for each other across traditions and homelands.

We will be sharing this harvest and its teachings together at Muyu Minga Tandanakuy, a day of seed sovereignty, collective care, and cultural celebration. 🌱✨

Este maíz es más que alimento, es medicina, memoria y conexión.

Desde el año pasado, Ukwakhwa, una granja familiar Oneida, ha compartido generosamente semillas con nuestra comunidad. Gracias al liderazgo de Paul Lema, hemos podido sembrarlas, cuidarlas y ahora cosecharlas. 💚✨

Esto demuestra la fuerza de la solidaridad Indígena entre las naciones del Norte y del Sur, las formas en que nuestros pueblos se apoyan y se cuidan mutuamente a través de tradiciones y territorios.
