Lasting Legacies

Thank you Wisconsin State Genealogical Society (WSGS) for having us.

It was a pleasure to share the why behind Lasting Legacies and detail the importance of documenting our stories for those who come after us!

We had a very special film premiere at Teal Shores in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Over the last 6 months, we've been collaborating with Jodi Wilterdink of Touching Hearts at Home Milwaukee to create a film exploring Chicken Therapy.

Chicken Therapy has proven to bring immense joy and fulfillment to those who participate. The film explores how Jodi hatched the idea in 2020 and features Teal Shores resident Norma, who is 90 years young and has been a driving force for Chicken Therapy. We were so excited that 8 members of her family were able to join us for the evening.

Over 75 residents and family members attended the red-carpet premiere where the Chickens truly stole the show. It was a heartwarming night filled with laughter and tears, we're excited to share the documentary with everyone!

This was the second year we supported the Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Award It is such a special night to celebrate so many thriving family businesses in the community.

We conducted interviews with all of the nominees in advance of the event to create videos highlighting their stories. Keep your eyes out for the recap video coming soon!
