When we are In Our Element, we can discover who Jesus made us to be. We learned how to understand our purpose, practice our skills and find our unique position.

It's Day 3 of Arts & Sports Camp!!!

Today's Bible Story is Peter, James, and John with Jesus on a Mountain (Mark 9:1-8).

Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a mountain to be alone. While they were there, Jesus' appearance changed and His clothes became bright white. Moses and Elijah appeared and talked with Jesus. The three disciples were very scared. God spoke from heaven and told them to listen to Jesus.

These three disciples had special roles. They were allowed to see something amazing and share the message of who Jesus was. Just like them, each of us has a unique spot on Jesus' team.

What unique spot do you believe Jesus has for you?

Jesus tells us we all have a place on His team. We may face challenges, but with faith and trust in God, we can find our purpose. The disciples' story reminds us that God has a special role for every one of us.

How can you begin to fill the role Jesus has for you?

It's Day 1 of Arts & Sports Camp!!!

Today's Bible Story is Peter is Called to be a Fisher of Men (Matthew 4:18-22).

Jesus called Peter to be a "fisher of men." Jesus wantd Peter to help people find hope and love, just like a fisherman catches fish. Peter was a fisherman, and he might have wondered if he was good enough for something bigger. Like Peter, we all have times when we feel unsure. But when Jesus invited Peter to follow Him, it showed that He want us to do the same thing - tell others about Jesus and His love. We can do great things too!

How can you encourage others around you?

Our purpose in life will change when we follow Jesus. At first, Peter didn't understand that he had a bigger role. But as he followed Jesus, he grew, became a leader, and helped many people follow Jesus. Just like Peter, we can discover our purpose in God's plan and help others know Jesus. We can make a difference in the world!
