The Friday, April 10 deadline is just three days away! Attention Madison area 10th graders: Apply for the Galin Scholars Class of 2028 cohort today. In May, we'll select up to 6 new scholars for our two-year program. Visit galinscholars.org to find out more and to apply.

This week, nearly 200 sophomores registered to take a free diagnostic ACT as part of Galin Education and ' Diag Day! The event aims to empower sophomores to better understand their areas of strength and opportunities for improvement over the next year, before they take the official ACT in their junior year. Thank you to all of the libraries who partnered with us to make this day a success!

Diag Day 2026! Over 160 tenth graders took a free practice ACT this week through this event with Dane County public libraries, Galin Scholars and Galin Education! These students will now know their starting point to prepare for the official ACT next year. Practice can lead to improvement from wherever you start! Thanks to all of the library staff and the Galin Education team who helped to make this opportunity available!
