POP-UP WORKSHOPS
w/ MEA ROBERTS
SATURDAY JUNE 20
JUMPS and TUNNELS - 1:00pm-3:30pm
This workshop will use short sequences with only jumps and tunnels to focus on building confidence, commitment, and handling skills throughout short sequences. Teams will work on timing, obstacle commitment, and finding the best lines.
Sequences will be designed to emphasize skill building, teamwork, and handler mechanics.
This workshop is perfect for young dogs/green teams looking to begin putting things together! Sequences can be broken down as needed. Dogs should be proficient on jumps and tunnels and be at least 8 months old.
SKILLS AND DRILLS - INTERNATIONAL FOCUS 4pm-7pm
This workshop is for teams that are looking to test their skills on harder international type sequences! We will use sequences that may include advanced skills like backsides and threadles, discriminations, challenging weave pole entries and exits, and layering challenges. Sequences can be broken down, and teams should expect to be challenged.
Dogs should be proficient on all obstacles and able to work through the challenges listed above.

Great study. I've always given BIG rewards for seemingly simple, not all that impressive of behaviors. I wonder if this behavior on my part has contributed to my success? I occasionally *accuse* my students of being "cheap" ie: one stinking cookie for a LOVELY behavior - Is being "cheap" slowing progress?
