Most traditional financial advisers/planners/brokers will not even try to help many people unless they have large sums of money (because they either charge ridiculously high fees, or they charge a commission for managing your money or investing it for you).They try to maximize sessions and transactions to increase their fees. Others may only charge an hourly rate, but they set that rate very high - while these advisors are more transparent, it still is not very accessible or affordable for most people. I only charge a fee for the time we are directly meeting.
