Cognitive Development and Communication Lab

Excited to share our lab’s work at CogSci 2021!

As the semester comes to a close, we will also say good bye to our lab’s project managers. Over the next two weeks, we will post about them to let you know where they’re heading next!

First up is the Algebra project manager, Elena Silla! This fall, Elena will begin a Ph.D. in Education (Learning Sciences) at the University of Delaware. She will be working with Dr. Christina Barbieri and Dr. Nancy Jordan and will be studying what instructional practices best help students learn math concepts such as fractions and algebra. Elena is also interested in how we as researchers can partner with teachers to better help students learn math. She is very thankful for her time working in the Cognitive Development and Communication Lab and for the wonderful people and mentors she met!
