Nate teaches students to develop proper technique and an understanding of music theory, as well as composition and improvisation skills. Outside of teaching, Nate composes and produces music for films and games, bikes and runs around the lakes of Madison, and avidly listens to music in all styles, though he prefers funk, jazz, and rock music.
