MADISON MIRACLES 5th ANNUAL TOY DRIVE!!!!

We are starting to collect toys and items for our annual toy drive!!!!

While shopping yesterday I took these pictures of some small items that are affordable at $5 & below. These would make great gifts for the children of Madison Heights who are in families struggling this Holiday season.

Families will be able to come to the Madison District Parent Boosters Holiday market Saturday Dec 13th at Madison High School from 10am-4pm and write letters to Santa, register that they need help, or drop off donations of toys to the toy drive.

**We expect over 150 kids! Many of whom will wake up to nothing Christmas morning without all of our help. Please help us give these families the help they need. Many of them help throughout the year in various events to try and give back in ways they can. These are our neighbors, friends, kids your children go to school with etc. IT TAKES A VILLAGE.

Well… guys!! WE DID IT!!

After a last minute shopping trip, due to a couple families reaching out today after unexpected events changed how their holiday would look.

WE DELIVERED 76 of 80!! YES!! 80 baskets today!

4 will be delivered tomorrow due to scheduling with the families etc.

We started with a goal of 50, which grew to 68 and then 77 and finally, today ended us with 80 baskets.

We just got home and beat the storms about 5 minutes ago (8:30pm). It took us all day and multiple car loads but because of this beautiful community, that always shows up in the kindest and most generous of ways… 80 children will wake up Sunday morning for Easter with a basket for them.

This included:
4 diabetic baskets
1 oat allergy basket
1 whole household of 5 baskets of peanut allergy
3 Autistic children who had diff special needs
3 children ages 2 & under (choking hazard baskets)

You guys did such a beautiful thing making sure all our neighbors were able to provide their babies with baskets during a difficult year. Be proud Madison Heights (& my friends at the Warren church: Amazing Grace Lutheran Church). You are endlessly amazing me.

We only have approximately 50 to give this year, baskets are very limited so please reach out soon. Last minute requests will not be able to be helped this year, we have maxed out at just a couple more than 50 baskets & are still working on filling many of them. So please reach out asap before they are all spoken for.
