Covenant Academy

With deep appreciation, we announce that Mrs. Laura Sims retired at the end of this school year.

Laura joined Covenant in 2010 and has been a steady source of encouragement ever since—faithfully supporting students, families, and colleagues with wisdom and grace.

Her service has touched nearly every corner of our school: from coaching swim and serving on the board to teaching 4th grade and, for many years, shaping young minds and hearts in 5th grade. Her classroom has long been marked by warmth, clarity, and a genuine love for helping students grow both academically and spiritually.

Laura’s ties to Covenant are woven through her own family as well, with all three of her daughters graduating from CA. She now looks forward to a new season filled with family, grand babies, rest, and continued opportunities to serve others.

We thank God for her faithful service and will share opportunities soon to celebrate her and honor her lasting impact on our community.
