We have just a few seats left for our afternoon session in July… however we are offering lessons all Summer and can’t think of a better way to escape the screens and sun and experience the gift of horses.

We not only teach kids and adults to ride, we develop awareness, responsiveness and help each student learn to notice feedback their horses are offering in every lesson.

Horses are the greatest teachers and therapists in one.. come for your first lesson and get a taste of it yourself.

Regardless of your experience- if you love animals and have a desire to be around horses.. you’ll find a place waiting here for you at the barn.

Interrupting our camp content for a very important announcement!

Lessons at 7 Oaks start this week!

Many of you have waited YEARSSSSS for this day… and we are thrilled the day has finally come for you to come join us, meet the horses and begin or deepen your horsemanship journey.

As many of our campers discovered… riding is so much more than click, kick and steer- it’s a relationship developed with the horse, it’s refined communication with your thoughts, emotions and body language that speak long before your hands and feet ever move.

If you’re looking for something different, something meaningful, something authentic… come join us under the covered arena and get a taste of what being a “horseman” is all about. ❤️

We packed soooo much into every single day of camp- i got a little behind with creating the highlight recap-

However- you know you’re doing a great job with teens- keeping them present and engaged when the devices go missing and unseen!

Truly so grateful for this group and how they showed up, accepted every challenge- jumped in, laughed hard and learned even more.. it felt like they got to taste a bit of what we remember as “childhood”.

We still have a few seats left in our July camp and then that’s it for summer camps until 2026!

Phew.. you know it’s a good week when you get behind sharing content!

Day two for teen camp- downpours, barn chore relays, riding and so much more.. the fun goes on here at 7 Oaks and we have been truly enjoying this week with the campers!

Normal routines are going to feel sooooo boring next week! 😩🤣😭

Another fully packed day of horse camp for these 6-11 year olds! Education, fun and games.. keeping them so busy they ask for snacks! 😀😆

It’s only day 2 and these kids have already grown SO MUCH in their leadership, teamwork, confidence, smiles and so much more.

Any guesses on what they’ll do on day 3?!

It’s so much more than just riding horses here- it’s a “whole heart and horse” approach to lessons, camp and leadership.

The afternoon was all about the teens- many getting their first horse experience and they dove in with us- making it so much fun!

We started with ice breakers, quick tie knots, horse anatomy, leading at a walk and trot, building body awareness and emotional resiliency, and ended with practicing our balance on barrels and even getting to ride ba****ck!

Phew.. that’s A LOT crammed into just 4 hours!

Onto day two!

What a fun and exciting day we had with our junior campers! So many sweet moments, so many memories made, so much growth and confidence seen already.. and we are just getting started!!
