The Historic Mable House
The Mable House was built in 1843-46 by Robert Mable, an immigrant from Scotland. He was a millwright and a farmer and the town of Mableton is named for him. During the civil war the house was used as a field hospital for Union troops and was placed on the Historic Register in 1989 when the House was restored to its original state.
