My father has been photographing and filming fire scenes for over 30 years so I grew up around it. I am also in process of trying to expand my photography past just fire scenes.
Congratulations to FF John Beck L165 who retired after 26.5 years with the FDNY. John started his first four years as a FDNY Fire Alarm Dispatcher, and was one of the radio dispatchers on the Manhattan Fire Radio during the terrorist attacks on September 11th. He went on to spend 22 years as a firefighter. Congratulations JB!

A Lynbrook firefighter who fell through a floor is assisted by a firefighter from Rockville Centre truck at a house fire in Lynbrook yesterday. The firefighter was not injured. Full first due video:
