💥 More Than a Drill: The Essential Tools in Your AVIRT Training 💥

You may have heard of our AVIRT (Active Violence Immediate Response Training) course, but what exactly do you walk away with? It's more than just a certificate; it's the life-saving skills and tools to manage a crisis.

AVIRT uniquely combines rapid response strategies with critical trauma care. Here’s a look at the equipment we train with, which is often found in kits like the TAC+PAC designed for simplicity and immediate use:

The Tourniquet: This is the single most vital tool for controlling severe bleeding on a limb. We teach you when and how to correctly apply a tourniquet (like the NAR Generation 7 CAT).

Pressure & Packing Dressings: For deep wounds that can't be treated with a tourniquet (such as injuries to the torso or neck), we provide hands-on training using specialized gauze to pack the wound and apply direct pressure.

Nitrile Gloves and EMT Shears: These may seem simple, but you need both. Gloves protect the responder, and shears are essential for quickly cutting away clothing to access the injury.

Situational Awareness: Your greatest tool is your brain. AVIRT training teaches you to recognize warning signs and make rapid survival decisions—whether to escape, evade, or attack.

Uncontrolled bleeding is the #1 cause of preventable death after injury. By equipping you with these hands-on skills and the knowledge of how to use these tools, we empower you to save a life in those critical first few minutes.
