A huge thank you to the Luling Eagles Athletic Booster Club for their generous donation in support of our annual Convocation!

They have been a consistent partner in helping us kick off each school year by investing in our staff and supporting this important event. Their continued generosity reflects a deep commitment to the students, staff, and programs that make Luling ISD special.

Our RISE Cohort recently attended Capturing Kids' Hearts training, where they all gained valuable strategies for building meaningful relationships with students and creating positive, engaging learning environments. Through collaboration and hands-on learning, the cohort explored effective ways to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. We are excited to bring these impactful practices back to our campuses and continue fostering a culture where every student feels valued, connected, and empowered to succeed.

Luling Bands are Area Bound!!!

Both the Junior High and High School Symphonic Bands are advancing to the Area round of the Outstanding Performance Series hosted by the Association of Texas Small School Bands. The Outstanding Performance Series is designed to annually select the most outstanding middle and high school concert band performances in the state of Texas and demonstrates the highest level at which Texas small school bands perform.

High School Symphonic Band is moving to the Area round in both the March and Concert category. In the Concert category, the High School selections earned 2nd and 4th place at the Region level. Their 2nd place selection will advance to the Area round.

The Junior High Symphonic Band advanced to the Area round and swept their classification. Their selection in the March category will advance to Area and both Concert selections will advance to Area. Additionally, the Junior High concert selections took both 1st and 2nd place at the Region level. They earned the distinction as the only band, middle or high school, to exclusively take the top two places at the Region 12 listening session.

The Area level will determine which programs move onto the State Level. Luling’s performances will be judged against other schools in the southern portion of the state. Mr. Rolfe and Mr. Blancarte are super proud of the students’ efforts and their dedication to music-making. Congratulations!
