Hey everyone... A very close friend and co-worker of mine was involved in a massive head-on collision early Saturday morning, on her way to work. It's an absolute miracle of epic proportions that she wasn't killed. However, she will be in the hospital for an extended period of time, has already had multiple surgeries, and will be going through more pain, rehabilitation, and economic hardships because of this accident that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

I have never in my life seen what a car accident of this magnitude does to the victim, their family, and their friends. Walking into her ICU room today and seeing her with tubes sticking out of her, her eyes taped shut, a breathing tube down her throat, and her almost looking unrecognizable, is absolutely gut-wrenching and brought me to tears for the first time since I can remember.
