From Childhood I have loved decorating rooms and setting pretty tables. My mother enjoyed having a comfortable home and it was a challenge to her to be creative and resourceful. If there was just one, or 70 people for dinner, it was done with ease and plenty of good food. I also remember gathering and arranging dozens of fresh flowers grown by my mother. This gorgeous extra long piece just arrived. It's under 2000 and 84" long and 18" depth. It's a beauty.

This morning I was scrolling through pictures. These neatly tied beautiful premade bows just came back in and I immediately thought, it's too bad most of life can't be tied up with a neat pretty bow. I felt the Holy Spirit tap my heart and remind me that we are all always blessed. He prompted me to start with that He sent His Son that I am saved. Then I was reminded that our lives are full of gifts. I've asked that I be reminded everytime I see a bow that my life is full of gifts, truly full.

This morning as I left for work my heart was heavy for lots of people I know. I was bringing names to the Father and as I looked both ways at the stop sign, I saw this bird in my yard. I paused and watched him just perched on our rock and I was reminded that His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me and all those I'm concerned for. He is a faithful God.
