Since 2018, US PREP has partnered with Education Policy Initiative at Carolina (EPIC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to implement a third-party evaluation of US PREP’s technical assistance. In their most recent research brief, EPIC details their evaluation and findings from data analysis of surveys of university-based teacher educators (deans, associate deans, department chairs, faculty, and field supervisors) in Cohorts I, II, & III of the US PREP Coalition. The surveys were administered on three occasions from Spring 2020 - 2022 and revealed the positive impact of the transformed model on many components of teacher preparation.
