1.) Graduate of higher education from a school/department of art (Note: most but not all members have a Master in Fine Arts degree)
2.) Committed to making/continuing new work projects of your own
4.) Open to exhibiting as a group
5.) Open to working on proposals for group shows

The wait is over and installation begins. Come out March 1, 2024, 6PM-9PM, to Rock•Paper•Shears (1103 Main St., Lubbock, TX.) It's been 25 years since the first Pulp Fiction Women's Art Collective was born in Lubbock, TX. This year's installment will feature some of the original cast of women and their artwork and some new members too. We will also have music by a Lubbock original Joy Harris. Spoken word performances with special guests will also be part of the celebration. You are welcome to dress as your favorite woman in history to share in the festivities.

Congratulations to the 53 organizations and artists just announced as recipients of National Endowment for the Arts grants! Together, they are getting a total of $1,256,600!

Houston Family Arts Center got a special shout-out in the NEA's news release. They will receive a Challenge America grant to support Stageworks Theatre's sensory-friendly theater programming, with an emphasis on serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
