Justin Shaw has been racing since 2002 at his home track of Abilene Speedway. He competed in an IMCA Hobby Stock after that, and won the Abilene Speedway Track Championship in 2006. He then moved classes, to an IMCA Southern Sportmod, where he currently competes. He races at numerous tracks throughout the year, from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and even Iowa. Hey everyone! Most of you know, but for those that don't, Justin will be driving for Wes Cummings, in the SG-1 sport mod for the remainder of the 2017 season.
Our upcoming races will be:
8/26 - Abilene Speedway - Championship night
9/7-9/9 - HOT Speedway - $10,000 to win Southern Nationals
We are very excited about this opportunity we've been given, and can't wait to see what the future holds!
We would also like to give a big shout out to Jake and Paul Upchurch, with C & P Pump Services, for all their help this past weekend with our "test & tune" sessions at HOT and KSP!
2nd in the heat race at Abilene Speedway, opening night. We'll see where we start in the A main!
