Cost:
$15.00

Cash or check only, we cannot accept credit cards.
You must have an FRN (Federal Registration Number) PRIOR to taking the test(s).

To obtain and FRN:
Log on to CORES (put FCC CORES into your search engine) and fill out the information. You will get the number in a few minutes. Save that number.

Please bring:
-Proof of identification, driver's license, school id, whatever.
-You will also need your FRN from the FCC
-If upgrading bring a copy of your license.
-You may bring a calculator.

The FCC fee must be paid online directly to the FCC not to the VE team or organization processing the application form. VEC and VE team licensing procedures are unchanged.

New applicants will pay the $15 exam session fee to the ARRL VE team as usual, and pay the $35 application fee directly to the FCC by using the CORES Payer FRN System (easier to use) or the CORES FRN Registration system (CORES - Login). CORES payment system information.

Below is our final Skywarn schedule for 2021. Due to Covid restrictions, we will not be able to provide in person instruction this year.

As I mentioned before, these sessions are free and open to the public, and any individual or group will be able to join. We encourage all spotter groups to find a date that will work for you.
You can participate in the training either individually or as a group. You will need a computer with TV or screen/projector, or your personal device such as smartphone, and then connect via the link provided below at the appropriate time.

If you cannot join us for these live webinar training sessions, our online training modules can be accessed here.

This schedule will also be posted to our Skywarn webpage, in addition to this email.
