🚨 Texas Child Support Update for 2025

Beginning in September 2025, the maximum monthly net resources used to calculate Texas child support increased from $9,200 to $11,700. This means some high earners could see an adjustment in support.

The increase is not automatic. A modification only happens if both parents agree in writing or if the parent receiving support files for a modification through the Attorney General or with a family law attorney.
