A dense, atmospheric composition rendered in a restrained palette of beiges, grays, and whites. Occasional bursts of red, teal, and black break through the subdued field, anchoring the eye and asserting a sense of lived presence. Whorled textures and painterly layering lend the surface a sense of weight and depth, evoking a shifting psychological weather. This painting explores the idea of emotional resonance through restraint, allowing color accents to emerge with heightened impact. It's called, "And Then Later, When it gets Dark, We Go Home." 52 x 84 inches, acrylic on canvas.

I know it doesn't feel much like a perfect day out there, let's just all try to be there for each other and keep on hanging on.
