AAPI Heritage Month may be over, but we didn’t want to let it pass without reflecting on a meaningful event we attended a couple of weeks ago at Embrace Boston.

It was powerful to gather in honor of leaders and changemakers including Fred Dow, Helen Chin Schlichte, Nick Chau, Paul Lee, Suzanne Lee, Tina Zhu Xi Caruso, and Massachusetts State Senator Vanna Howard.

We were especially moved by the legacy of Harry Hom Dow, whose impact as the first Chinese American admitted to the Massachusetts Bar continues to resonate today. His story is a reminder of the power of using leadership, advocacy, and community to open doors for others.

As AAPI Heritage Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate it with gratitude.

As an Asian, LGBTQ+, and women-owned small business, this month is personally meaningful to us, and we’re proud to support organizations and communities that uplift AAPI voices and create space for belonging, visibility, and impact.

AAPI Heritage Month is a time to celebrate identity, history, leadership, and the many contributions of AAPI communities. These are values that matter to us this month and every month.
