Sam Meas Candidate for First Middlesex State Senate

Although the election is not until November 3, voter outreach begins now and continues relentlessly—one voter contact at a time.

Last night, June 8, 2026, voters in the 18th Middlesex District had the opportunity to hear from the two Democratic candidates for State Representative during a public forum: incumbent Tara Hong and Sokhary Chau.
Tara Hong is seeking a second term in office, while Sokhary Chau currently serves on the Lowell City Council and previously served as Mayor of Lowell. There is no Republican candidate in this race. As a result, the winner of the Democratic primary on September 1 will effectively be the next State Representative for the 18th Middlesex District.
