Candidate for Lowell City Council - Centralville (District 2) seat. I am a lifelong resident of Lowell. I understand what it takes to get things done, and I know how much knowledge and wisdom my neighbors bring to the table, too. I attended our public schools, forged lifelong friendships at the Boys & Girls Club, and graduated from Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School. When I was young, many of

This Sunday, June 14th, is our annual Firefighter Memorial Sunday ceremony. Please join us downtown to help honor the men and women who dedicated their lives to the fire service and passed away this year. The procession will start at 0900 on Palmer Street, passing City Hall and finishing up at the JFK Civic Center. After the ceremony, Mass will be held on the apparatus floor. We look forward to seeing you all there!

This endorsement is truly an honor. As our campaign has repeatedly demonstrated, advocacy for others is at the core of who I am as a candidate. It is unrelated to identity politics or prevailing national trends. It is not tied to stories full of exaggerated information. It has never been about attempting to fit in to a community I am a tourist in. It is solely based on outcomes that have benefited the greater good.
I don’t have paid consultants or advisors, my neighbors guide my decision making. I’m not looking for credit for gathering like minded people, I’d prefer differences of opinion. I have not looked for individual endorsements, I am supported by organizations that represent the hard working families of our community. I have been asking the residents of the 16th Middlesex to examine my work. Compare my resume to whomever.
I have dedicated twenty-three years to public service. From providing direct assistance to our community while working in Public Works, advocating for the well-being and working conditions of my colleagues as a municipal employee paid from state and local funding, to drafting legislation and casting both straightforward and challenging votes on behalf of my constituents who elected me to serve them, public service has been a fundamental aspect of my life. I reiterate that experience is paramount.
“During your tenure as an elected official, you have always stepped up when our members need your leadership. Recently, you worked with Lowell Firefighters Local 853 to oppose firefighter layoffs and protect public safety in Lowell. You also demonstrated your commitment to firefighters and their families when Chelmsford Firefighter Nick Spinale was seriously injured at the Massachusetts Fire Academy. These actions reflect the kind of leadership and compassion that firefighters never forget.
We appreciate your continued support and leadership, and we are proud to stand with you as you seek higher office. We look forward to working together on behalf of firefighters, public safety, and working families across the Commonwealth.”
Thank you for your support and acknowledgment of the leadership and action I have taken to assist the hard working heroes your organization represents.
Thank you sincerely to Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts Foundation, Professional Fire Fighters of Lowell MA Local 853, and Chelmsford Firefighters IAFF Local 1839.
