Lea County Kayak Anglers

First day out in the kayak for 2021 at green meadows in Hobbs. Was a surprising day in the wind, the large mouth were destroying the lipless and the crappie were liking the drop shot. Water was 50 degrees, prefrontal with wind.

The heat and full moon worked against us today but still managed to have a great time and get that new fish smell 👌🏻 happy 4th everyone!

Tougher day at green meadows, but managed some bites.

Green meadows in Hobbs, water temp 48-49 degrees, caught 20 bass, and one 16 inch trout. All caught on a ned craw. I used the depth finder to identify abnormal bottom topography, if you can call it that, bumps and holes really.
