This is not to say that it can’t not stain or scratch, but over the course of time, given normal use, it should be very resistant to damage. We recognize that the barb on the legs can be a potential hazard; we position the barb directed to the inside of the table to lesson the hazard, but we can build without the barb for a more “kid and pet friendly atmosphere.”
