🎗️ This month, we're honoring our own neighbor, Steph, and her incredible journey through not one, but two cancer diagnoses.

After beating breast cancer, Steph was later diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of sarcoma; a cancer that affects only 1% of adults. Through chemo, surgeries, and countless scans, she leaned on her Lake Forest neighbors and friends for strength, including a mahjong group that became a lifeline during her healing.

As we celebrate America 250 this Independence Day, I’m feeling extra grateful to be part of a community like Lake Forest. It’s the little things here that stand out, neighbors who show up for each other, kids growing up together, and traditions that make this place feel like home.

Wishing you and your family a safe, fun, and relaxed Fourth of July. Hope it’s full of good food, loud laughter, and a little time to slow down together.
