We conducted a small survey at LLFlex, to see who we could spotlight for 'Volunteer Recognition Day.'
So many of our employees commit their time to worthy causes, therefore our recognition day will last for a few days!

"In 2019, we began a program called “KEEP GRANBY BEAUTIFUL”
We created a page for our town and offered refuse bags and recycling information to all that wanted to participate.
This program has been sustainable over the past few years and continues to grow. With over 60 volunteers in 2019 and over 100 volunteers in 2022.
The community also established a program called, 'Adopt a Street', where volunteers keep our town litter free and provide recycling 'best practice' throughout the year.
Our Earth Day clean up is scheduled for 4/22 and 4/23. Any free hands and a positive spirit is always welcome!" Brenda O'Connor.

Shining Brighter : A New Chapter for LLFlex
Louisville, Kentucky, USA, was the location for our 2022 Sales and Technical Summit. All category managers and technical teams came together earlier in the year, for a week from all over the U.S. and U.K. to map out our key business strategy and product focus for the year ahead and beyond.
Huge passion and vision shared from all attendees certainly set the scene for inspiring debates, presentations and brand development across all of our product categories.

To close our celebration of ‘Women’s History Month’, I would like to introduce you to Barbara Swartz, our Group HR Director.
Barbara’s in-depth industry and HR experience has greatly contributed to the future strategy and goals of the company. More recently, challenges that we all faced in life and business over the last two years, saw how Barbara and her team continued to focus their steadfast commitment and positive attitude to all our employees. Huge appreciation!
We asked Barbara, “Who has been a valuable source of inspiration or an important mentor during her life/career?”
~ “I have been inspired by many different women over the years. I believe the people you need can either come to you for a lifetime or are only there to see you through a season. Their worth in my life is immeasurable. My Aunt Bette comes immediately to mind as a lifer. She didn’t shy away from providing direct advice - and many tough discussions come to mind! The personal high standards and expectations that I set myself then and to this day, is due to her.
