Our goal is to connect folks with nature and each other while learning more about our local outdoor environment. Our meet-ups are unstructured and play focused, but we often provide either a short activity or materials the kids can use to enhance their learning as they play. The kids enjoyed some local sand and surf at Harrod's Creek this week!

Whitehall hosted us for a fantastic field trip all about the ecology of KY. The kids got to pet a worm snake, two kinds of turtles, and a green frog. They also got to see some fascinating venomous snakes (from a safe distance). And they finished up with some delicious cake! Thanks to Dan and Judy Dourson for a wonderful program.
