Getting to represent North Carolina as the 2026 Remarkable Woman and share the mission behind Pink Ink Tattoo and the Pink Ink Promise Foundation has been such an incredible honor.
Sitting down with Hayley Wielgus and WKRN in Nashville gave me the opportunity to reflect on this journey, from surviving breast cancer to finding purpose in helping other women heal, rebuild confidence, and feel seen again after some of life’s hardest moments.
One of the most meaningful parts of this experience was meeting so many extraordinary women from across the country, each with their own story, heart for people, and impact on their communities. To stand alongside them was truly an honor.
I’m beyond grateful for every survivor who has trusted me, every person who has supported this mission, and every opportunity to continue raising awareness and bringing light to survivorship, healing, and hope 🎀.

Getting the chance to sit down with CBS17 and share the story behind Pink Ink Tattoo was incredibly special, especially because this journey was never just about me. It’s about every woman who walked through my doors carrying strength, vulnerability, courage, and trust.
What began during one of the hardest chapters of my life with breast cancer became a purpose I never could have planned for. Along the way, I’ve met some of the most inspiring women and families, and their stories continue to shape my heart and remind me why this work matters so deeply 💗.
I’m truly grateful to CBS17 for telling this story with such care and compassion, and thankful for everyone who has supported Pink Ink Tattoo throughout the years. Every message, every appointment, every prayer, every kind word has meant more than I can fully express.

An unforgettable moment, grounded in purpose 🎀.
My recent trip to Los Angeles as one of the five finalists for the Remarkable Women of the Year initiative was truly unforgettable, and I was grateful for the opportunity to use this platform for something so meaningful.
Filming on Stage 3 at Warner Bros. Studios for The Jennifer Hudson Show gave me the chance to speak about something deeply personal and important with ar**la tattooing, breast cancer awareness, and the life changing value of post-reconstructive options for survivors like myself.
This work is more than medical tattooing. It is healing. It is restoration. It is the final touch many women have been waiting for.
