What to wear when invited to the iconic Central Park Women’s Committee Hat Luncheon? 👒 The Bonbon in Peony Pink felt like the perfect spring vibe, and I added extra length to the bottom to give it a more elevated look. While I could fit everything in my pockets (aka didn’t really need to bring a purse), this embroidered clutch used to belong to my Southern grandmother so it seemed fitting for the occasion. It also nicely connected the gold shoes with the black ostrich feather headpiece by ✨
Should I make some Bonbon dresses in this longer length?

New color, who dis? 🌸 Super excited to share a sneak peek of the new spring color, Lilac Pink, launching do pre-order TOMORROW at 8pm ET. It’s been over a year since we’ve launched anything new because I’ve been having a lot of fun at my real job. But I’ve been keeping a secret: I made a sample Brie dress in Lilac Pink back in 2023 and have been wearing it ever since. It was supposed to stay a sample, but after the umpteenth compliment, I realized it’s too good not to share. Enjoy this compilation of photos showing me wearing the sample abroad in Italy, Panama, and Poland, and at home from dinner parties to horse races to my mother’s 75th birthday bash 🩷

Huge thank you to for such a thoughtful interview about my quest for deep pockets. From the women of the Rational Dress Society in the late 1800s who advocated for practical garments to designers like Claire McCardell in the 1940s/50s who embraced pockets, we all know that comfortable, functional, and fashionable clothing is where it’s at.

It’s a full circle moment to be featured in the BDH as that’s where I started my first business that prioritized functional fashion: Dear Kate, a line of high-tech period underwear (perhaps a little ahead of its time). Brown had a culture that was wildly supportive of independent thinking, which I feel like we carry with us as alums forever and always.

Happy Spring! Throwing it back to Stockholm with .lasio 🌸 She’s in the navy Hazelnut dress—proving that you can wander through Rosendals Garden without a purse, because “holding things” is so last season. 🇸🇪 Pockets: 1. Purses: 0.
