Rebuild Belize is dedicated to improving social conditions for under served communities in the country of Belize, by organizing volunteers to participate in various sustainable community revitalization projects. The sub tropic nation of Belize, located just south of Mexico in Central America is one of the fastest growing tourism destinations in the Americas. Home to the second largest barrier reef
on the planet, this small English speaking country, (Pop.350k) boasting over 200 plus islands off the mainland is quickly becoming the jewel of the Caribbean. For many years this jewel has been hidden but now that multi national corporations and overseas investors have discovered the nature rich, under developed nation, it's seams the only things hidden now, are how unsustainable development, corruption and human rights violations negatively affect the less desirable parts of this newly discovered tourism Mecca. Our mission at Rebuild Belize is too bring awareness to these human rights violations taking place along side a booming tourism economy. In bringing awareness to these violations we hope to form a large network of volunteers who are willing to assist in supporting our action plans to get "boots on the ground" in these struggling communities. Becoming a member of Rebuild Belize is as simple as liking our page and following our social media sites. Help us to raise awareness by sharing our cause with as many as possible. We have recently formed an administrative group of volunteers who meet regularly with our founder and administrate our social media efforts. We are always interested in volunteers willing to assist with administrative duties and input on furthering our cause.
