Tyler Krasowski () is a highly skilled and accomplished draftsman, and his works express his excitement and passion for the immediacy of drawing. While drawing is often used as a preparatory tool, Krasowski values his drawings and sketches as artworks in their own right. He views the act of drawing as a spiritual and meditative practice, a rebellious language that encourages viewers to slow down and engage more deeply; death is right around the corner. His images showcase a variety of approaches and subjects, reflecting his deep admiration for the old masters, particularly printmakers like Dürer, whose detailed and intricate works invite closer examination.
