CASTING CALL: An UNTITLED AMAZON SERIES with a known filmmaker attached is searching for ACTORS FOR CHINESE AMERICAN characters.

LOGLINE:
Set in a tight-knit community in Hong Kong, this story follows three American women whose destinies intersect with irrevocable consequences.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

Role #1: The character portrayed is a Chinese-American male in his late-30s to mid-50s; warm and empathetic. A loving husband and successful executive, he is determined to support, look after, and protect his wife and children. Age: Late-30s to mid-50s
Note: Please indicate if you speak Chinese, and if so, which dialect

Role #2: The character portrayed is a Bi-Racial female aged 12 years old. She is on the verge of becoming the typical teen, always with her headphones on and face in her electronic devices. She can be curt with her mother and does not have time for her younger brother’s childish games.
Age: 12 years old
Note: Ethnically, she is a mix of both parents in looks. She has a Chinese-American Father & a European-Descendent Mother.

Role #3: The character portrayed is a Bi-Racial male aged 8 years old. Still very childlike and clingy towards his parents. His anxious behavior could stem from a family tragedy that he may know more about than the adults realize. Age: 8 years old
Note: Ethnically, he is a mix of both parents in looks. He has a Chinese-American Father & a European-Descendent Mother.

Role #4: The character portrayed is a Bi-Racial male aged 3 years old. Strong-willed, adventurous and friendly, he’s easy to love.
Age: 3 years old
Note: Ethnically, out of the three children, he resembles his father the most in looks. He has a Chinese-American Father & a European-Descendent Mother.

INSTRUCTIONS:
In interview video, looking into camera, please shoot in medium frame with your name, height, current location, any acting or performing experience, and include a full shot.

Please include an open-ended answer one of the following questions:

2) Who is your favorite person? He or she can be anyone in the world; a friend, family member, athlete, artist, etc. Give us 4 reasons why this person is the best!

3) Tell us about something you are obsessed with and give us 4 reasons why we should also be obsessed with it!
